Event Description
Africana Studies will host guest speaker, Dr. William A. Blair on Thursday, January 31 at 4pm in the Falvey Library, First Floor Lounge. Dr. Blair will present " How and When to Commemorate Emancipation". Dr. Blair is a Liberal Arts Professor of American History and Director of the George and Ann Richards Civil War Era Center at Penn State University. This event is co-sponsored by the Center for Peace and Justice Education, IGIS, the Cultural Studies Program and The History Department.
